Neighboring country to Russia, Finland provides best example of forestry in European Union, and at the same time good example of cross-border policy and co-operation between Russia and EuropeanUnion. Finland is the most forested country in European Union, more than 70% of the area is covered by forests and 10% is covered by lakes and rivers.

Our aim is to provide you an insight what are the new trends going on in forest based sector in Russia and European Union and a possibility for conversation with many different experts and decision makers fromstrategic policy level toprivate forest owners and forest industry.
Our Expertise is on forestry and bioeconomy; focused on Natural resources management and forestry, green economy, renewable energy, biochemistry and climate change; strategies, policy, international education and training as well as research and development projects.
The structure is planned so that it enables maximum possibilities for interactive discussions for Indian forest experts with Russian and European experts and decision makers from academics to policy makers, company leaders and forest owners– but also with the counterparts of IFS officers.
