Our Success stories
Tharun Kumar
bioAcademy Summer School Participant 2016
Last two years have been most happening in my life! In 2016, during my final year of Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from VIT, Tamil Nadu, I came to know about BioAcademy's summer training program on "Clean Energy Solutions from Green Economy" through our international office. I took this opportunity to participate in the course and also carried out my one month internship on "Waste to Energy" at BioAcademy. The course was unique, and specially designed together with several industrial partners and decision makers. This helped me also to create new contacts and network. The course is very international and it helped me to learn about several cultures and friends from different countries.
My short stay in Finland has now turned out to become a life changing event. BioAcademy was my springboard to get into Nordic Double Master Program 2017 on "Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering" at Aalto (Finland) and Chalmers University (Sweden) with scholarship. Many thanks to all the guidance and support given by the BioAcademy professors who made me "two steps ahead" of my fellow classmates. I highly recommend to take this course first before applying for higher degree studies abroad.
